6 small Camembert cheeses
3 garlic cloves
1 small onion
+ vegetable oil, pepper corns and juniper berries to marinate
Cut each cheese horizontally in halves and spread Sambal Oelek on each half. Cover these with thinly sliced garlic and onion. Then put the cheese halves together again and place into a sterilized jar. Add the remaining onions, garlic, pepper corns and juniper berries and fill up with oil. Leave to marinate at room temperature in a dark place for 7 – 10 days.
For an authentic Czech experience serve with Pilsner, pickled peperoncini and garlic bread.
